One year after Dosha's death, James M. marries her sister, Courtney. After 13 years of marriage, James being 44 and Courtney being 36, arelisted as having a daughter, Catherine in the 1870 Census. When Catherineis 10 yrs. old, Courtney dies at the age of 46.

In 1874, one year after Courtney's death, James M. marries Martha Flynnand 2 yrs. later, in 1876, they have a daughter, Katie B. Hulett.Catherine, her 1/2 sister, is 13 yrs. old when Katie is born. Three yearslater in 1879, at the age of 16, Catherine marries my great-grandfather,Albert D. Shackelford. They are found in the 1880 Franklin Co. censusliving with John Shackelford, Albert's father and his dau, Agnes. by his3rd. wife, Maria Wentworth Lindell. Albert & Catherine are marr'd 7 yrs.and Catherine dies in 1886 at the age of 23 yrs. old. I don't know ifthey lived there with John Shackelford the rest of their married life ornot.

Since James M. died in 1896 and Katie B. didn't get married until 1909,she must have been living with her mother, Martha, in the 1900 census ofFranklin Co., Ky.
