Newman filed in the action relating to Henry's estate, the doctor charged $6 for "delivering wife" on June 9, 1856, which must have been when Charles was born. $11.50 of the bill was disallowed by the court "for over charge of 50 cents a visit on 23 visits." Per notes of Robert Bailey's mother, he never married and died in Hartselle, Alabama.1

Note Robert and Hettie left Canmer in 1904, moving first to Breckenridge County, then in 1910 to Demopolis, Alabama, then in 1922 to Gadsden, Alabama where Hattie died. They were always looking for better land to farm. After Hettie died, Robert lived with various cheldren and finally died at a facility in Fort Supply, Oklahoma near daughter Pattie.1
