(Witness) AnecdoteJust this morning, as I sat with him in the hospital room, he told a story about how, when Aunt Hattie's mother was living with her and Leonard, a hobo they'd given a meal to refused to leave the house. Dad says that Hattie's mother fired a gun across the kitchen to frighten the man, and blew the leg off the kitchen table. Sometimes Dad's mind wanders, but this seemed to have the air of authenticity about it.8
