In Patrick County, Virginia, a William Bristow married a MarthaBeck on October 3, 1796. In shelby County, Kentucky, Book 8, p. 17,1821, William Bristow signed a receipt 'Received of Jacob Lewis, Guardianfor Sarah Lewis, who is now my wife in full.2
Note After the marriage of Benjamin and Sarah, they moved to Green County,Kentucky, that part which later became Adair County; there are deeds toshow that after Benjamin dies, his wife Sarah moved to Shelby County,Kentucky where her parents lived.2
