In the name of God, amen. I, Timothy Mayhall of the County of Franklinand State of Kentucky, being of sound mind, do hereby make this my lastwill and testament.
1st I will and bequeath unto my wife, Ester Mayhall, after payment of myfuneral expenses and just debts, all the property I now own whether real,personal or mixed to have and to hold the same for her support during herlifetime or widowhood.
2nd I will that my daughters, Martha L. Mayhall, Emily Mayhall and MaryMayhall live with their mother during her life time unless they shouldmarry before her death.
3rd. I will that my son, Paschal H. Mayhall shall have the use of my farmduring his mother's lifetime providing he support her comfortablytherefore and at her death he is to have it with all and singular theappurtenances hereunto. I will also that at the death of his mother heis to have a horse, saddle and bridle worth one hundred dollars, also agood feather bed and furniture.
4th I will and bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth Bright at the death ofher mother a five dollar draft (?).
5th. I will and bequeath unto my daughter Sally Jackson a five dollardraft (?) at the death of her mother.
6th I will and bequeath unto my granddaughters Martha and Margaret Baker(?) each a five dollar draft (?) at the death of their grandmother,Mayhall.
7th I will and bequeath unto my son Samuel H. Mayhall at the death of hismother ten dollars in money.
8th I will and bequeath unto my son Joseph H. Mayhall at the death of hismother ten dollars in cash.
9th I will at the death of my wife, Ester Mayhall that after her funeralexpenses shall have been paid out of the personal property in herpossession at her death, and the sum which I have given to my childrenbefore ----(?) and that the remainder to be sold and equally dividedbetween my daughters Nancy Carr, Martha L. Mayhall, Emily Mayhall andMary Mayhall.
10th I will that my brother John Mayhall be appointed my executor tocarry this my last will and testament into effect.
11th I will that he shall not be required to give security to the CountyCourt for his executorship.
