The three children of that marriage were raised by their grandfarther, Abraham Bohannon. Nothing is known about what happened to Sarah after their marriage breakup or about the death of Wesley. Great-children of Wesley passed written information down that William Allen was their father, Wesley was their grandfather, and that William and Ballard Hudson were Wesley's brothers.1

BIOGRAPHY: Tax records for Owen County Kentucky show that Wesley was atobacco farmer. Records for him continue through 1869 and Mahulda shows up on the tax rolls in his place in 1870. Also, church records show that he was a member of the Caney Forks Batist Church until his exclusion in 1863. His last years were spent in New Liberty Township of Owen County.
