They must have had more money than most as they were the ones who organized the trip to Kansas and at one time they kept a hotel in Waterloo. Uncle Frank was a strict Presbyterian and organized that church in Waterloo. At one time my sister worked for them and when she got the bread made, for some reason, didn't have time to get the dough pan washed so she hid it in the washing machine. Yes, Uncle Frank found it and really chewed her out. They had come out for Aunt Matti's health but later she wanted to go back to Illinois.
