    Lee Peyton Jr., age 76 of Campbellsburg, died Wednesday, October 12, 2005 at his residence. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and life member of the DAV. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was a former teacher and coach of the Henry County school system, retired principal of the Trimble County school system and retired teacher of the Luther Luckett Correctional Complex. He was the son of the late Lee and Anna Hackett Peyton.

    He is survived by his wife, Betty Orem Peyton, Campbellsburg; one daughter, Laura Lee Lewis, Campbellsburg; one son, Zane Orem Peyton, Campbellsburg; one sister, Zelma Winchester, Bethlehem and two granddaughters. He was preceded in death by one brother.

    Funeral services were held Sunday, October 16 at Ransdell Funeral Home in Campbellsburg. Reverend Bert Montgomery officiated. Interment was in New Castle Cemetery.

    Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to HenryCounty Hospice Rural Programs.
