    Marjorie W. Snook, 77; of New Albany

    Funeral services for Marjorie W. Snook, 77, of New Albany, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 6, at Kraft Funeral Services, Charlestown Road Chapel, with private burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. She died Tuesday, June 2, 2009, at Kindred of Louisville.

    She retired as a legal secretary from the former law firm of Orbison, O'Connor, MacGregor and Maddox and was a member of Graceland Baptist Church.

    Survivors include her children, Denise Lynn Miller, of Tallahassee Fla., John Vernon Snook, of Mableton, Ga., and Timothy Wayne Snook, of Louisville; stepchildren, James Martin Snook, of Clarksville, Robert Lee Snook, of Floyds Knobs, and Betty Kay Snook, of Nashville; siblings, Barbara Delphia Corn, of New Albany, Dabney Whitfield Willis Jr., of Sellersburg, Lamont MacElroy Willis, of Buffalo, Minn., and Edith Carole Tyler, of New Albany; grandchildren, Sarah Denise Kenerson, Diana Marie Miller, Amanda Faith Arnold, Rebekah Hope Arnold, Maurice "Rocky" Lawson, Jessika Grace Fulwood, Alexyss Brook Fulwood, Raina Michele Snook and Taryn Rae Snook; and great grandchildren, D'Andre Russell Lee Kenerson and Jaidyn Jamal Kenerson.

    She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Rudolph Snook; her parents, Dabney Whitfield Willis Sr. and Edith Mae (Shupe) Willis; son, Stephen Douglas Snook; and daughter, Lisa Rae Arnold.

    Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

    The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions in her memory, to the Veterans of Foreign War Hobart Beach Post 1693 in New Albany.
