Book, ' History of Anderson Co.' On page 79-80 there is roster ofconfederate soldiers in Anderson Co. The names there appeared on aconfederate monument that was erected in the courthouse yard prior to1900. James Watson is listed as being part of Co. F, 5th KentuckyCavalry and having died. John B. Mason (Jas's bro-in-law) was in thesame company. He is listed as returned not injured.
