He was born on February 6, 1927 in Zionsville to John H. & Blanche Marie (Pipes) Neese, Sr.
He was a Veteran, having served in the Navy in 1944-1946 during WWII as a Seaman 1st Class. He farmed in the Lebanon area and worked for Crellin Plastics for 21 years. He moved to Frankfort in 1974 from Boone County. He was a member of the Whitestown Baptist Church; Men's Bowling League; and the American Legion in Lebanon. He enjoyed bowling, fished in his younger years, enjoyed tractor & horse pulls at the fair, and loved baseball.
He married Connie Jo Pedigo on June 30, 1986 at Turkey Run, and she survives.
Survivors include wife, Connie Jo Neese of Frankfort; two daughters, Brenda (Tom) Reese of Greenfield and Vicki Neese of Lebanon; one step-daughter, Pamela Jo (John) McMurtrie of Colfax; one step-son, Bruce Kressel of West Lafayette; one sister, Mary Maxwell of Lebanon; two brothers, Kenneth Neese of Zionsville, and Gene (Sallie) Neese of Lebanon as well as 4 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Charles, Loren, Chester & Bill.
Services will be held Monday, June 14,2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Genda Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Green Lawn Cemetery.1 |
