    William D. "Bill" Yount, 95, of Frankfort, died Tuesday at Frankfort Regional Medical Center. Services will be held in Rogers Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Friday, with burial following in the Frankfort Cemetery.
    Visitation will be at Rogers from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Thursday.

    Born in Franklin County on July 12, 1913, Mr. Yount retired after 45 years from Standard Oil Company of Kentucky (later Chevron Oil). He also worked in the development of Willowcrest and Hickory Hills subdivisions and built and operated a boat yard on Lawrenceburg Road.

    Bill achieved 61 years of perfect attendance at the Frankfort Rotary Club. He was a master mason in Hiram Lodge #4, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church and its John Browning Sunday School Class. In addition, he served on the Frankfort City Council in the early 1950s.

    Survivors include a daughter, Saundra Yount Robinson of Frankfort; two grandchildren, Bill Robinson of Bowling Green and Laura Robinson (Doug) Thompson of Waddy; two great-grandchildren, Courtney Taylor Thompson and Jonathan Paul Thompson, both of Waddy; and a sister, Henrietta Y. Penn of Lexington.

    Bill was preceded in death by wife, Christine Metts Yount; his parents, Roy O. and Henrietta Nicol Yount; two sisters, Cassie Y. Watson and Ethel Y. McCray and two brothers, Robert C. Yount and James L. Yount.
    Rev. Jack Brewer will officiate at the service.

    Bearers will be Bradley Yount, Marcus "Woody" Blakemore, Joe Pinczewski-Lee, George Mann, Nika Galvez, Peter Sullivan, William K. Lee and Ted Howard.

    Memorial contributions are suggested to the First Methodist Church.

A Frankfort native, she was the daughter of the late Elwood and Dulaine Quire Moore; and was a member of the First Pentacostal Church. Survivors are her husband, Lloyd Bryant; a son, Joshua Nathanial Bryant; and a sister, Bonnie Shearerain, all of Frankfort; and a brother, William Moore of Charlotte, North Carolina. Burial was in Frankfort Cemetery, Frankfort, Kentucky.
