STATE JOURNA, FRANKFORT KY., MARCH 17, 1910 LaGrange, Ky.--------William Strother, 28, son of Adam Strother, drowned himself in the Ohio River about twenty miles from Louisville. Strother was employed by John Botorff as a farm hand and left Botorff's house Monday morning with his team to plow near the river. When he failed toshow up at dinner hour a search was made for him. His team was found hitched to a tree and further search led to the finding of his body in the river nearby. Coroner Dowden, of LaGrange, was notified. An inquest resulted in a verdict of suicide by drowning.2 |
